I was indeed using the latest version.

However I took it to another rig, and it definitely worked! Most pleased. Annoyed it was my rig for some reason though.

This may or may not be helpful. But I was trying to rip John Wick 3 4K from my WH60NS60 1.0. It it threw similar errors and the disc was new and wiped. Makemkv I can confirm that I ripped the Patriot UHD just yesterday. Full backup decrypted. Using makemkv no problems.
