SamuriHL wrote:There is no UHD Friendly drive firmware fix for the sleep bug. The only fix is to flash an official UHD drive firmware.
Well I guess what I read in another thread was misinformation.

Thanks for clearing that up SamuriHL

One more noob question if you please. I didn’t find an answer in search...

Just hoping for one final but of clarification. Which firmware revisions fixed the sleep bug for UHD friendly drives? For instance I understand we can goto the vendors own website and read what firmware revisions “fixed”. However when Mike “fixes” the current firmwares. How so we know when the sleep...

LG BP60NB10

I was indeed using the latest version.

However I took it to another rig, and it definitely worked! Most pleased. Annoyed it was my rig for some reason though.

Anyways, thank you for your help Marty.

Kind Regards

Re: LG BP60NB10

1.00 should just work If 1.00 should just work, why is there an MK 1.0 version in the firmware pack, and no it does no just work I can assure you. However I will now try it on multiple other computers. I used it with the computer I use to do drive flashes. As I said before, flash BP60NB10 1.00 MK w...

Re: LG BP60NB10

Resurrecting a couple month old thread. I just got a BP60NB10 1.00. Am wondering how I flash it. I’ve done internals no problem. But the app just hangs at 0%. Is there some trick with slim externals you need to do? Thank you in advance for any insights. 1.00 should just work If 1.00 should just wor...

Re: The Waterboy Fails to Rip (ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB)

This may or may not be helpful. But I was trying to rip John Wick 3 4K from my WH60NS60 1.0. It it threw similar errors and the disc was new and wiped. I popped it onto my ASUS on 3.01 and it ripped no problem. I guess sometimes it benefits having more than one drive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapat...

Re: LG WH14NS40 1.04 >>> ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.10 >>> LG WH16NS60 1.00

Sorry for the delay been a tad under the weather. Yes I followed this guide. I went from LG WH16NS40 1.04 to the Asus MK 3.1 reboot then from ASUS to LG WH16NS60 1.0. Still going strong and no problems. no need for the extra steps just go 1.04 to WH16NS60 1.02mk less steps less chance of error. Tha...

Re: LG WH14NS40 1.04 >>> ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.10 >>> LG WH16NS60 1.00

I haven’t seen many people anywhere mention this but. I used your guide. However, I cross flashed a LG WH16NS40 1.04 to an LG WH16NS60 1.0. Worked like a charm. Thanks to your guide. I ripped a couple 4K no problem. I’m not a seasoned member like some of the people on this board. However if there i...

Almost sounds like the sleep bug. But 30 seconds is far to quick.

Re: The Patriot UHD failing to Decrypt

Not overly helpful. But as a new user of
Makemkv I can confirm that I ripped the Patriot UHD just yesterday. Full backup decrypted. Using makemkv no problems.

Used this guide and cross flashed my drive. Worked wonderfully. Thanks for the effort for making the guide and moreover to mike and anyone else that had a hand in giving us the consumer the upper hand again against greedy stupid Hollywood trying to dictate how I can watch what I own. Good Morning, one question please, if I may...

I am a noob that is just about to flash his HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.01... I see in the current firmware pack it offers an upgraded libredrive enabled 1.02 or in the old folder it offers 1.01 Is there any huge benefit to going to 1.02 modded from my stock 1.01 or would it be wiser to stay on 1.01 m...
