I don't have a script but, I recently discovered a docker image for makemkv. It gives you a Web GUI with the newest version, really convenient. It might be helpful if you already use docker in your system.

BU40N not reading all discs
I've recently got a used BU40N which I flashed with a 1.03MK and then to 1.04MK. And its behaving weird. I tried some random blueray disc I found lying around and it works 30GB is normally read and I can rip it. But then I tried Zootopia disc both 1080p and 4K and drive is not even registering a dis...
