MakeMKV generates corrupt subtitle track when using custom track names

MakeMKV 1.17.6 appears to be generating a corrupt subtitle track when I try to convert the "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" blu-ray disc into an MKV file and use a custom name for some subtitle tracks. It seems to be inserting an extraneous 0x74 byte into the beginn...

Thanks for sharing the picture Guybrush. I suspect this was a packaging label mistake and your discs don't actually support HDR10+. Could you share a picture of the packaging with the HDR10+ logo? Afraid I'm not seeing it on my packaging, although I have the 6-movie box set where all of the discs are together into 2 cases instead of individual cases for each movie.

FWIW, I don't think any of the Star Trek movie UHD Blu-ray releases support HDR10+. I don't see any HDR10+ marking on my own box set ( Star Trek: The Original Motion Picture 6-Movie Collection ). And the blu-ray.com announcement about the UHD box set doesn't list HDR10+ support. Same thing with blu-...

Hi, I'd like to request that MakeMKV add support for Advanced Sub Station Alpha (S_TEXT/ASS) subtitles when reading source files. Here's my situation... I have DVDs of older TV shows that I want to turn into MKV files. Those DVDs don't have VobSub subtitle tracks, but they do have closed captioning....
