I was half way remuxing a TV season to FLAC when some videos had their English subtitles play by default so you have to turn them off in a media player every time you play the video. It seems the PGS subtitles have only PGS subtitles shown in MakeMKV but actually have both PGS subtitles and Forced Subs because when I play the video back in MPC-HC those 2 subs are an option and the forced subs play by default. The PGS subtitles that MakeMKV output has subs for all scenes not just foreign language so it's annoying that MakeMKV outputs those subs playing by default.
This is annoying as it means I have to mux a file twice, once in MakeMKV and again with MKVToolnix to turn off the subtitles playing by default. Is there any way in MakveMKV to have an option to NOT set the subtitles as default or forced?
How to stop MakeMKV setting English subtitles as forced/default?
