incorrect audio

Post by melisa »

Hi all,

I'm new to makeMKV.

I have got a BluRay Movie (hitman). I'm making a backup using MakeMkv and have selested the English Ausio file listed in the MakeMKV. when I play it using WDTV, the audio included in the movie is the one with the commentary. when I paly it on normall BluRay player I can turn it off so no commentary is included. What did I do incorrectly? I don't want the one with the commentary. this is the only audio which is availabe with the English language.

Thanks

please post contents of the log window (lower half of the screen) once you open the disc - it should provide more details.

Yes. So it looks like all audio streams were processed correctly. MKV files have multiple audio streams - are you sure you've selected the correct one in your player? Also, can you open the output file in the mkvinfo utility (from mkvtoolnix) and post the structure here?

Thanks.

there are 2 audio. one going through HDMI and the other chanel is going through the optical cable.

The one which goes through the optical cable is correct but the one from the HDMI is not correct.

Not sure what to do
