I was wondering about this as well. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening or how to address it? Using the batch converter is saving me loads of time, but I could still cut that time down by 75% without this small nuisance. Because it is dropping the first letter, I am unable to just batch convert to the same drive and then run a batch File2Folder. If I have the batch converter save to the original file though, the .mkv gets stashed inside the Video_TS folder and I have to manually go back to each movie folder and move all the files back into the main movie folder before deleting the Video_TS folder.

I've been using a long work around so far. I've been batch converting to an external drive, then drag/dropping each .mkv back into the original movie folders. Then I go through and start deleting Video_TS files. That's an awful lot of moving around of the files though, and it still means taking the time to go through and delete Video_TS files from each main movie folder manually.

I've attached a screenshot of what is going on in case it isn't exactly clear.

No screenshot yet, you could mask an URL to an external source so you don't have to wait for approval. I guess, what you want can be done with Total Commander easily.

Sadly, I'm not familiar with Total Commander. I'll have to take a look in the morning during coffee.

Just downloaded it and did a CRC check: the file is identical to the one I donloaded when it came out. So the Avast message of the file being infected most likely is a false positive.

@OP: Good deal man. Just found this today and it came in very handy. I do wish it would pickup .ifo files in folders not labeled VIDEO_TS but otherwise worked great and saved me a lot of time today. Thanks!

That's odd, it should be available. Try this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw-rqu ... sp=sharing

It will stay on as long as anybody downloads it in between 30 days. I've removed the link capability so the forum's spam check won't kick in.
