I'm jealous you have your copy of The Crow early, but hopefully this means I don't have to wait to rip mine once it arrives.

I'm waiting for my Crow disc, as well. There's an entry for a variant of it in the keydb already so it might work on this version possibly. Worth a try. I pray mine comes tomorrow.

MakeMKV supported my Crow variant out of the box which was nice. I don't have the MakeMKV dump filename, obviously but I would imagine the one posted above probably works now, as well.

my copy of The Crow will not rip
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted.

My copy won't rip either. I am getting this type of error until it gives up:
The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00294.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 10689878016, attempting to work around

That from the disc or drive not a key issue
Clean the disc with a damp lint free cloth and dry with another
And give the drive a full power off LG and Asus drives greatly benefit from reboots after a read errors some times it's even required

Thank you for your reply and advice. Bummer on my hands in this case. Tried cleaning and doing a cold boot and run into the same problem. My drive is an LG WH16NS40. VLC plays it, but it's blocky, not sure if that's possibly a related issue; I never really try playing discs directly, just rip em. I've had discs fail to rip before and tried again after some weeks or even months and they ended up working, maybe that will happen here too. Steelbook edition appears to be sold out at Amazon so I'm more or less stuck with the disc unless I trade down. We'll see--thank you again.

KEYDB.cfg file already contains these two entries:

No guarantees, but you could try downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file and copying it into your .MakeMKV/ directory (where MakeMKV also writes the .tgz dump files), to see if either entry works for you.
