Looks like this DVD is not the same issue as I had in the Speed Grapher post. That one ended up having all the episodes within one large title. This one should have nine episodes each having several chapters in it, but instead its showing up as follows.

The next version of MakeMKV will properly handle this disc, and all discs that are mastered like this one. Thank you for sending the log file.

Has this issue actually been fixed? I'm seeing the same thing with the Cowboy Bebop discs as well and running MakeMKV v1.8.11 win(x64-release). The current version appears to only be unable to extract all titles from discs 2 and 3. I can profide IFOs and logs if that is helpful.

Unfortunately, that didn't help. I'm unable to upload the IFOs due to the error message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.". I've put them on private hosting here:

I haven't been following this, but... Which release of Bebop? When I ripped the original release 2 years ago, MakeMKV found all the titles on all disks. I'd have to get them out of storage to check them against the current release of MakeMKV.

It's the regular DVD release of Cowboy Bebop Remix: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00102 ... UTF8&psc=1

It's possible that I purchased a bootleg copy, since it's sold by some marketplace seller, rather than Amazon directly. Though I would expect a bootleg to be easier to extract from.

Checking that this IS the 2008 Bandai 6-disk Anime Legends release... Found mine, so I can check it... It's an excuse to convert what's on the media server to MKV. :)

I'll post the results of my scans vs. what the box says is on one disks later.

MakeMKV 1.8.14 can handle the Bandai release.

If the original poster had 9 episodes on a disk, they did NOT have one of the official Bandai releases. I have bought some series out of China and Indonesia that packed that many episodes on a DVD, but Bandai did not normally do so.

What my case says per disk, and what MakeMKV could do with it (I did not re-rip extras this time, watched them already):

Disk 1: Episodes 01-05 -> MakeMKV found 5 plus extras, ripped 5
Disk 2: Episodes 06-10 -> MakeMKV found 5 plus extras, ripped 5
Disk 3: Episodes 11-14 -> MakeMKV found 4 plus extras, ripped 4
Disk 4: Episodes 15-18 -> MakeMKV found 4 plus extras, ripped 4
Disk 5: Episodes 19-22 -> MakeMKV found 4 plus extras, ripped 4
Disk 6: Episodes 23-26 -> MakeMKV found 4 plus extras, ripped 4

Now, there was an issue with the episodes NOT being in order on the first two disks - I had to watch each long enough after the rip to make sure they had the correct file names, before I turn them over to Handbrake....

Not to mention that all 6 disks were mastered at different times, so audio track type and order changes between them.

That's the layout of the discs that I have, however, MakeMKV is not picking up any titles on discs 2 and 3. I'll see if it's been updated since and then try again.

If Mike needs to see logs and IFO files from successful rips, I can supply those.
