Did it have a note next to it about being the "main feature"? Just want to make sure that MakeMKV is finding the right one when Java is installed.

Yes, it did. I went straight for looking for the correct mpls and didnt see it but it did show as the Main Feature towards the top of the list. It also listed some other stuff as well like trailers and outtakes I believe.

Thanks

FWIW, the Family Video rental is the same as Netflix/Redbox.

Not likely - title numbers in MakeMKV are assigned as eligible titles are found, and depend on your minimum length setting.

The name of the mpls is displayed in the Info window as you highlight a title in the left menu.

Same segment map as the Retail version.
I have a retail package (4K + blu ray, attempting to rip the blu ray) and do not have this segment map at all. Can anyone confirm what the proper .mpls or segment map should be for this version?

This morning, I received a copy of the The Hitman’s Bodyguard Blu Ray from Amazon and after hand-verifying the flow of m2ts files, am confirming that the finding by hvnphoto of 00648.mpls for the US Retail version is still current.

Segment map: 503,509,504,506,510,501,502,505,507,508

FYI, file sizes are as follows:

Code: Select all

   2445563904 00503.m2ts
    140685312 00509.m2ts

Hi everyone,

I have the buy your own version Blu-Ray version and once I installed java, it was a lot easier. I ripped it and the ran it through Handbrake. The version that MakeMKV selected and worked for me was:
Title information
Name: The Hitman's Bodyguard
Comment: FPL_MainFeature
Source file name: 00648.mpls
Duration: 1:58:17
Chapters count: 16
Size: 35.9 GB
Segment count: 10
Segment map: 503,509,504,506,510,501,502,505,507,508
File name: The Hitman's Bodyguard-FPL_MainFeature_t02.mkv
Hope that helps!
