Just wanted to say that I bricked a year-old WH16NS40. I bought a new one & had Billycar11 remotely change the firmware. Took all of 7 minutes. Highly recommended. :mrgreen:

So, the Cinematic Universal Edition from Wal-mart can be ripped. I know this because I bought a Cinematic Universal Edition from Best Buy that gives that error indicating the disk is bad. Indeed, my OPPO froze a couple of times. Now I get to have fun with trying to get Disney to refund my money for ...

How dou you changed those old files back to executables? I changed the extension back to *.exe but it still said it could not run.

Dolby TrueHD & DTS-MA only encode as PCM

Starting about 3 months ago, everything that I make, Dobly TruHD & DTS-MA are getting encoded as PCM only. That is to say, when playing back on device (say my Oppo-103) that I know can handle these formats (because the Blu-ray I just encoded from, has THESE codecs) they show up as PCM on my Denon 33...
