Re: Any way to strip Dolby Vision and just mux HDR10?

im sure it's not the TV that handles DV poorly, it's that dune does not decode DV correctly. just turn off DV in the dune player settings and the file will play back as HDR10/10+.

or get yourself a Ugoos AM6B+ and install CoreELEC 21 and get real DV decoding

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

I don't know about Kodi but it plays fines in PLEX on my end(except for the slight BL_EL OOS) We just received the Nokia 8010 which has the amlogic S905X4-K chip (with the dolby vision license) but can't get DV FEL to wor...

Re: DOlby Vision only shows as HDR and many newbie questions

I am new to this forum and just started ripping 4K blurays for the purpose of preservation. If there is a FAQ that answers my questions, please direct me to that. I have decided to start ripping my 4K Blurays for the sole purpose of having a back up in case 4K players no longer become available. I ...

Re: DOlby Vision only shows as HDR and many newbie questions

Not interested in using streaming. I want to use a box that connects via HDMI. I feel like these boxes should have programs that allow for them to be ripped. i hate to say it but, you have no idea what you are talking about! the chromecast 4k will NOT do real Dolby Vision! nor does it have a gb eth...

Instead of reporting it as a bug, ask for a new feature. Because according to the documents it is not a bug.

Re: Default selection rules issue

I've been using MakeMKV for years and can't remember when -sel:all unselected titles. The documentation clearly states it's for tracks, not titles. So maybe it was a bug that you were taking advantage of that was fixed. Personally I don't see it as a big deal as a simple right click and unselect al...

It does not say that it unselects all titles

Re: Default selection rules issue

Why do you keep bumping this. -sel:all works on linux. It's probably something in your selection rules causing your problem. Did you try the rules I posted two years ago? Well if it worked i wouldn’t keep bumping it now would i? -sel:all should do just that unselect EVERYTHING, but it does not http...
