Re: Unable to save preferences

Thanks for the work around and I can confirm that it's good. Will this be fixed though in the next version release?

Re: MKV file vs M2TS file? What am I missing?

Not to discourage you, M2TS files are just too large of a file which will take up a lot of space.

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 1 Disk 1

occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/01018.m2ts' at offset '6093336576'
To me, that clearly says that it cannot read the contents.

How about audio transcoding? Has this been checked upon already?

Re: Feature suggestion: multi-angle/versioning support?

For all practical purposes this is impossible with MKV container.
Thanks for confirming this. At least it will be transparent. Good thing though that we can still do something about it on a work around.

Re: Unable to save to NFS share

This one is a tough one. Is there any error message when you're trying to do this? Additionally, was there something modified on your box prior to getting this issue?

Re: Terminator 2

This could possibly just be a bad disk. Have you tried other ones just to be sure?

Re: dtsdecoderdll.dll

Bug fixes:
Rarely, some episodes could be missing on a series blu-rays
When using audio transcoding, channel layout was incorrect for certain DTS-HD surround modes
Default/forced flag profile settings were ignored after 1.8.2 change
FYI for the bug change at version 1.8.4

There is also a beta version of this that's free by the way. That is if you still want to be a free user.

Re: compile fail on Mandriva 2011

You will need to have a c++ compiler for this to work. Also resinstalling g++ might help if still a no go.

Re: Why is MakeMKV making a WinRAR archive?

This is actually a new feature in 1.8.0. It is saving a version of each MKB it encounters. It helps in future troubleshooting. if you would check the file size, they are just pretty small and you can probably go ahead and just ignore it. It doesn't hurt to be prepared, you might use it in the future.

Re: MakeMKV buffers on SamsungTV with Plex client

If this is an optical disk drive, it has something to do with the OS settings for the disk buffer on optical drive.

Re: MakeMKV crashes when trying to decode DTS-HD to FLAC

I think everything points to the bit version. Have you tried asking Arcsoft if they have a dll for 64 bit? Just to test it out.

Thanks. Is it really a normal behaviour for a trial version to expire ahead when updating?

The debug is pointing toward the disc. Does this have a copy protection or any kind?
