Re: The Matrix

Hhmm okay well it's weird that it still says no libredrive support on 3.00 but works for Batman I guess 3.00 on your drive does not support libredrive didn't know that the best thing to do then is to flash the mk version for your drive and then it should work

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2019

Any reason not to get the Asus BC-12D2HT instead of the recommended BW-16D1HT as a ripping allrounder? Yeah it might have 3.11 that some people have trouble downgrading https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19991&start=15 I'm pretty sure 3.10 has worked for some people to downgrade but...

Any benefits to the latest NS60 firmware? Or just a "let's break compatibility even further" update from LG?
i didn't notice anything different but it disables dos flash access and makes it harder to downgrade like all the new fw.
i was the dumper and tester for it.

Re: Step-by-step guide for the best (IMHO) drive: LG WH16NS60

I just picked up a new WH16NS60 today from my local Microcenter store. It was manufactured April 2019 and came with 1.02 firmware. Like the noob I am I followed your instructions and tried to flash down directly from 1.02 to the 1.01 firmware you referenced but got the ‘write dram ng error”. Figuri...

Re: BC-12D2HT flashed to BW-16D1HT 3.10

How do I find one that is NS50? Amazon has several as well as New Egg. I'm not sure what that means or how to find out to order one. What about the WH16NS60? most places have new stock that are ns50 all ns60s are compatible you can buy one from me to ensure its not defective and is the right svc code

Re: BC-12D2HT flashed to BW-16D1HT 3.10

Do you think I would be better off choosing a different driver to lessen my chances of getting a defective one If so, which ones would have less of a chance? i have had no defective BU40N and WH16NS40s but those to are also the smallest sample size the most out of box defective drives for me are WH...

I would like to thank all whom have tried to help me. :D What drive would you suggest? Possibly the LG WH16NS60, UHD Official Internal 5.25 which is at the top of your list? What do I flash it too when I get it installed to unlock UHD Reading/Ripping? any of them could be defective but i do like th...

Re: Custom firmware pack with LibreDrive patches

That's not a very good thread. Ouch But it literally says how to solve your exact problem Newer OEM Firmwares: LG 1.04+ BU40N 1.03 Asus 3.10+ and similar The newer OEM firmwares cannot be flashed easily due to the additional downgrade checks. If your drive has one of these firmwares, and there is n...

Re: Another Asus BW-16D1HT 3.03 > 3.02

This took all of 15 sec to flash so thanks to Mike and of the rest of the guys who posted the links. I mounted this drive in my Win 10 desktop but will try my external USB case if my old LG-BDNU40 dies. Question, is 3.02 from driver pack ok for now or would you guys recommend different firmware?
