Re: Drive stopped reading

You can open it enough to see that the lasers are active while trying to read the disk. How would one do this? I'm in the same boat all of a sudden. My drive is an ASUS BW-16D1HT that I've had for many many years. Never flashed any firmware (apparently the firmware date is 2115-11-03 11:10 haha, gu...

Ripping (or removing) opening chapters

Hi folks I just ripped Season 1-6 of Northern Exposure. Two files in Season 4 have the first chapter as the colour bars shown here. This runs for about 2.5mins for the chapter before the show starts. All the other files were ripped fine. Is there a way to rip and skip the first chapter? I tried to r...

Re: Lord of the Rings + The Hobbit 4K (Finally!)

+1 to issues with the Hobbit discs at least. I've just finished ripping LoTR, Mulan, Monster Hunter and Kingsglaive all with no issues. Chuck in The Hobbit and nope, no luck. Lots of SCSI errors. Discs have been cleaned multiple times.

Must be a batch of these discs with issues.

Re: Men In Black International - 2 Main Features

^ that's not easy. My disc has 8 (eight!) files. I've made a MKV of each and now trying to figure out which one is correct. Huge pain in the backside

edit: though I'm happy to be told I'm reading this wrong!

Re: DTS-HD - DLL required for ISO files?

Thanks Romansh

Is there any way to ensure the flag stays ticked by default? (the parent flag)... It's always the sub flag channel that is ticked

DTS-HD - DLL required for ISO files?

Hi all Appreciate some help for a noob to MakeMKV! I'm currently converting my BR ISOs to MKV with this program, and have discovered late in the piece that if I want the DTS-HD audio checkbox ticked for all titles with this audio track, I have to download and install a dtsdecoder.dll file Easily don...
