Re: Blackhat UHD
There was some censorship on the international version to remove references to "Latino": The International Version included in this release is what played in non-US territories and contains a slightly shortened dialogue exchange considering a suspect that the FBI is studying who has ties t...

Soul (2020) Disc Defects - Multiple retailers
Anybody else have issues with the UHD disc of Pixar's Soul? I have tried 3 copies: original from Amazon, replacement from Amazon, another from Wal-mart. All were ordered online. Nothing special, no steelbook or special version. Each copy failed to backup the title or the entire disc. Each copy faile...

Re: Only select 'Closed Captions → Text' for DVDs
Hey guys...as the OP can we get this back on track to my original request? I'm really just wanting to know how to only select 'Closed Captions → Text' for DVDs (which is usually labeled as the 'Lossy Conversion') and not select the other subtitles in a profile I've created. If you'd like to discuss ...

Re: Only select 'Closed Captions → Text' for DVDs
That doesn't mean you can't ask Mike to elevate them. Although I haven't seen him put a priority on "DVD-only" stuff recently. I don't really need Mike to change anything in the application, I'm really wondering how to configure my profile I've set to handle not selecting the CC by defaul...

Only select 'Closed Captions → Text' for DVDs
Trying to figure out way to have the lossy conversion of the CC to text-based SRT be the only English subtitle selected. However, there doesn't appear to be anything that allows limiting in profiles on Codec to allow an action to then transpire, bump order weight, etc. Essentially looking to have so...

Shouldn't need to use ffmpeg unless you really have a reason to. You can simply follow the walkthrough in the link you provided for everything above the "OPTIONAL" steps.

Re: Interface improvments
- a DarkMode would be lovely because I am using the UI mostly at night and with a Dark Mode my eyes would not burn out when switching from VS to the MakeMKV Ui. This is available if using Linux. - Preview of tracks in program I agree this would be nice, especially for confirming subtitle selection

Goodness--I'm an idiot
Disk had no problem doing it's thing once i checked my proxy was working properly for MakeMKV connections. FW rule on my router started blocking that traffic so wasn't getting most updated hash tables.
All good now. Merry Christmas!!!

No Time to Die US -- Multiple attempts to submit, no dice
I've attempted multiple times to send dumps to both svq(at)makemkv(dot)com and support(at)makemkv(dot)com but get bouncebacks from both fairly quickly when sending from multiple email addresses.
It's attached for those interested and who want to try and get it to Mike.

Just as an additional note: I would not recommend keeping the custom path set to `/bin/true`, but only switching to it when encountering issues.

I encountered a similar problem with the same title using MakeMKV version 1.16.5. I too spent time, more than I would like to admit, playing with various JRE versions. This made no difference. I, too, experienced this issue with this exact title a couple days back. Also played with JRE versions an ...

Re: Feature Request - End of Rip Alert Sound
On Linux I use dbus-monitor and send a push notification via Pushover for any MakeMKV popup window (success or failure) and which Disc it's for. Don't believe MacOS has dbus-monitor but could potentially read through these documents to see if they have some functionality https://developer.apple.com/...
