Forced Subtitles and 4K Ripping. GOT

Does MakeMKV natively mux forced subtitles when checked or is that meaningless?
I can't remember ever having it work on any of my 300 plus 4K's.
I'm doing GOT right now and the Dothraki subtitles do not appear. The log shows as nothing there.

Thanks for any help!

Re: State of the art 4k movies from a technical view

I would say Gemini Man at Native 4K and 60FPS is the best looking 4K movie I've seen. Only a couple of titles at 60 FPS.
The Revenant is also a good pick.

Check the all releases spreadsheet topic not far down in this forum. There is a column for Dolby Vision.

List of UHD Releases with Dolby Vision.

Does anyone have a listing of which 4K UHD disks/movies have a DolbyVision track?

Re: Star Wars 4Ks

Good morning to all! When each disc decrypts there are 4 copies of the movie with 4 different languages. How can you tell which one is the English one?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8 4K Blu-ray (Triple-Layer Issue)

I was able to rip GOT 4K discs 2 and 3 ( episodes 4-6) with no problem. Disc 1 I get failed to open disc. I sent the Dump to Mike.
Using LG WH16NS40 drive.

Try unplugging all USB attached storage while ripping. I had these errors and unplugged my USB 3.1 hub and the errors stopped. Just a suggestions.

Re: Will it stop blocking PavTube if I buy a license?

I've been an MakeMKV licensed user for 2 years now. I am also a Pavtube user for 6 years. Today I got the popup from MakeMKV that Pavtube was using unlicensed program and it crippled Pavtube ByteCopy. I use both programs but like Pavtubes ability to go directly to mp4 format. Pavtube was quite a bit...

Re: The program can't find any usable optical drives

Hi, I have this problem with two different USB drives. The solution I found, which is rather a nuisance, is to uninstall and reinstall MakeMKV and when the installer finishes, make sure you check off Run MakeMKV now. It then finds the drive and as long as I leave the program running, it will work. A...
