Re: The volume key is unknown for all discs

I am trying to decrypt a small collection of blu-ray ISOs I ripped using a PS3, but I have been unable to open any of them using MakeMKV. I have already sent the AACS dumps and associated log output to svq@makemkv.com. Could this be a problem with my setup or should I expect to be unable to decrypt...

Re: The volume key is unknown for all discs

I think the OP is doing regular blu-rays. Shouldn't need to download any keys for that, right? It should just work. The OP would still need keys to decrypt the AACSv1 files on the ISO images, and it would appear that MakeMKV's hashed keys doesn't contain any of them. If multiMAN is supposed to have...

Re: Drive spins up but then says no disk.

Yes, I cut power for 5 minutes. I also verified the lasers are working. I also saw the manufacturer date was 2018. I don't know, it looks like the drive might be dead. How long do drive normally last with moderate use? If they are LG or ASUS, if you get 12 months out of them these days, you have do...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives

Hello, total noob here. This is what I've got. The first bluray I ripped mostly worked fine. The 2nd one I tried failed, and now the discs won't load. Any advice? Thank you. Re: New LG WH16NS40 flashed to WH16NS60 1.02

I just bought a new WH16NS40 and flashed it to WH16NS60 1.02 but I am having trouble even ripping regular blu-rays. MakeMKV will start and recognize the drive, but about 1/4 of the way through progress just stops and the remaining time keeps climbing higher. I'm not sure if I have a defective drive...

Re: How to restore factory firmware to BW-16D1HT drive?

So yeah - the ASUS-only zip file that defaults to 3.02 to install gets an error when I try to install that firmware. And the ZIP file that contains 3.02 (which is the same one pointed at by that YouTube video I mentioned), when I try to install it (using the old firmware tool or the new firmware to...

Re: How to restore factory firmware to BW-16D1HT drive?

The SDFtool Flasher thread . Near as I can tell, however, Marty's All You Need Firmware Pack only has 3.10 for the ASUS BW-16D1HT. It looks like the first post of this thread: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=18933 contains a link to the "modified ASUS FW Flasher + Down...

Re: How to restore factory firmware to BW-16D1HT drive?

The flasher tool is on a thread 68 pages long (and the site won't let me search for a string as short as "3.02"). The first post there doesn't contain any link to the 3.02 firmware, nor anything on that page that I can find. Here is that thread: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.p...

Re: How to restore factory firmware to BW-16D1HT drive?

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work either. I'm using the SDFtool Flasher (v1.3.5) and point it to firmware 3.03 (3.02 doesn't exist in the 'old' folder of the firmware downloads from this site), and it says: Command produced error code 0xff23d101 Any suggestions, since MakeMKV's flasher won't...
