Re: Is there a way to downgrade the firmware on a Buffalo BRUHD-PU3 from BU11 to BU10?

Can anyone confirm if this works on a device that shows up as a BU11 rather than a BN11 in the modified ASUS flasher?

Re: Flashed a WH16NS40, now it won't read disks

Thanks, fortunately this is just an old drive that I don’t care much for and felt like experimenting with. Does anyone know where I can get the appropriate firmware file for my drive?

Pretty old (I got it in 2015), it does not say SVC: NS50 on the label.

Flashed a WH16NS40, now it won't read disks

MakeMKV looks like it's reading the disk for about half a second then it just says "No disk inserted". I get this on Blu-Rays and DVDs. Drive Information OS device name: F: Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST Product: BD-RE WH16NS40 Revision: 1.03 Serial number: SIK9GE3C8195 Firmware date: 2117-11-21 16:53 Bus e...

Re: Is there a way to downgrade the firmware on a Buffalo BRUHD-PU3 from BU11 to BU10?

No. Near as I can tell, BU10 is the version that originally shipped on this model when it first rolled out of the factory, so a download of it was never available from the manufacturer. I'm hoping to find someone who managed to dump BU10 from an older unit. The updater here can update a drive with B...

Is there a way to downgrade the firmware on a Buffalo BRUHD-PU3 from BU11 to BU10?

I've seen mentions of firmware version BU10 being compatible with LibreDrive but I can't get my drive on BU11 to read any UHD disks.

Re: WANTED: Results of UHD Rips with Dolby Vision

Yea, i didnt understand his attitude, since there are no media players that do dual stream DV anyway. So why get pissy that mkv doesnt support it. Sent from my iPhone Xs Max using Tapatalk Pro It could be argued that there are no media players that support DV because the containers they support als...

Looks like the key database has been updated with the keys for this pesky Amazon-bought copy of MI:F, I have it decrypting right now.

Re: Mission: Impossible Fallout UHD - Fails to decrypt

In other forums people are reporting that their disks from Target work just fine (in a certain canid-themed competitor) but disks bought on Amazon do not work.

Will this include support for re-badged BU50Ns like the Buffalo BRUHD-PU3?
Yes, but confirmation is needed. Do you have the drive by any chance?
I do in fact have this drive!
