okay... So I've asked this question before (setting up Libre-Drive on my Buffalo disc drive/reader) but in trying to do a "flash install" as its put, none of the files I've downloaded from the link provided are compatible with my iMac running on the latest OS. Are there Mac friendly files I can get ...

When I open MakeMKV is always displays this message: MakeMKV v1.12.0 darwin(x64-release) started Optical drive "BD-RE BUFFALO Optical Drive BN10d" opened in OS access mode. I followed the steps here that you've given
(restarting the Mac, opening terminal in recovery mode and typing in:
csrutil enable --without kext, then reboot

but my MakeMKV still says opened in OS access mode

Is it because of my OS? Should I not bother if I'm running on macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)?
