LG WH16NS40 from Frys Electronics ?
So I just went to my local Frys electronics and they have a whole lot of LG WH16NS40 drive s with SVC code NS50. Now question is does it matter the Rom version and the manufacturers date? This drives have version 1.02 and are July 2017 stamped.

Ok thanks that's what i needed to knowst4evr wrote:That is correct. The requirements are there for a reason and has to be the correct Service Code.

Hello newb here to all this uhd ripping stuff, Been doing research on what drives work to rip uhd movies. I have an LG WH14NS40 2012 Rom Ver 1.0 that rips blurays but its unable to see uhd discs, I looked on the drive and it doesn't have a svc label anywhere on it. Im guessing its not compatible wit...
