This is happening to me as well. I have a thread with more details and I suspected it was because I was using AnyDVD HD trial with MakeMKV. Just check my name and you’ll see my thread about my problems that are almost identical.

Yes, It has a power switch. I've turned it off and on a few times, in hopes that might help it reinstall the drive with Windows but no luck.
