I downloaded the MakeMKV program again. I was using 1.14.2 for Mac. It was the same version as the one I was running that was giving me the "ILLEGAL REQUEST" errors. The I ran the replacement version of makemkv the "ILLEGAL REQUEST" errors no longer appeared and the program starting working again. ...
