broken manual mode?

Reading the below on the website: "In a simplest case only title number can be specified - in this case MakeMKV will open title in exactly the same way as it would open it normally, with exception that all fake checks would be disabled . " Unfortunately, this was not correct. I received th...

ccextractor

After upgrading to Ubuntu 22.10, the library versions ccextractor is built against, are no longer available. They have been superceded. I pulled down the latest source with the intent of building my own, but the configure and other tools will not orient to the newer libraries, and it looks like the ...

Dawnseeker 2018 dvd rip fail

I have the above mentioned disc bought brand new and is pristine in condition. When trying to rip the copy in, makemkv just fails. What I mean is there is no read errors listed, just the failure. So, I turned on the debug log and saw the below as the last listed error message before it exits. 001002...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2022

As the Pioneer are listed on the first page of this post, I just received and have tested the new BDR-S13UBK and it seems to work flawlessly with Makemkv. I have ripped both BR and 4K with no issues. The Libredrive information is below. LibreDrive Information Status: Enabled Drive platform: RS9201 F...

new error as of 1.17.0

I was trying to rip the first disc of 'Coffee Prince', a Korean show. The disc label and the menu indicates 5 episodes are on the disc. Each episode consists of 5 chapters. Under 1.17.0 makemkv displayed a 4.2GB title consisting of 20 chapters. When pulled, there was only 4 episodes. No errors durin...

Re: Point makemkv to java

I am running into same thing, but with many of the newer discs, I am receiving a fatal error and makemkv crashes. I am using oracle java 8. Have had good luck with Deepwater Horizon, but fails with Hunter Killer and Hellboy (2019). Any assistance/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Re: "Fake playlist" protection - help needed

I'll go one step further. I tried openjdk versions 8-16 with no luck, but utilizing java 8 from Oracle worked for Deepwater Horizon, but Hunter Killer and Hellboy (2019) caused a fatal error and makemkv to crash. If there are any suggestions for java variants or versions, I'd like to hear them. In c...

Re: CSI Bluray

Thanks for the reply Krawk. I followed your lead and made a backup of the disc and performed a stream dump creating an mts data file. It still glitched early in the video at the point of the issue. I still would have liked a check box to ignore the corrupt area and just grab the data that's there.

CSI Bluray

I'm having problems ripping CSI - s01d02 title 04. I have ripped every other title on every disc for the entire set except this one. I have verified that the other titles play fine. What I am receiving is this: AV synchronization issues were found in file '/video/tv/CSI/CSI - s01ed2_t04.mkv' (title ...

makemkv crashes upon request to cancel

I have two wh16ns60s both patched with the 1.02 MK firmware and both being accessed by a registered copy of makemkv. One is running on an Ubuntu 20.04 system and the other on 19.10. I have compiled and installed both from tarball. In both cases, if I press the cancel button they will after 30seconds...

Re: "automatic sdf downloading is disabled or failed" while decrypting

In the meantime, it seems that locally resolving hkdts17.twilightparadox.com to 91.224.23.225 by placing it in the hosts file works quite well.

Re: Choose only 5.1 core stream

Looking for more documentation on the Selection Rules. Does anyone know if/where they might be? Looked for them in the online help and the FAQ to no benefit.

In particular, I'd like to automatically grab the jpeg attachments, if they are available. Thanks.
