I looked and that firmware pack by mike admin does have BU50N in it. Use the DE_LG_BU40N_100.bin that's packaged with the updated flashers these guys have been so awesome to share with us. MakeMKV now prints a log message that implies it's looking for a libre drive when it encounters a drive with the old school firmware on it.So it's DE or MK firmware foe me! Which ...

The only time I've seen one of these drives saved is through some very painful work... It must not have been here or you'd have linked to it? The OP already said he couldn't find the original firmware, and while I've heard of the dosflash tool, what is the "firmware mover tool" of which you speak. ...
