Right, turns out it will rip if left long enough - it must have got through thousands of those errors and then started to extract.
So for anyone with the same problem: if it doesn't seem to be doing anything, maybe leave it for a few hours...

Hello, Used to MakeMKV getting stuck on scratched and old disks, but this is a brand new copy from Amazon, which plays perfectly fine. When I go to rip it in MakeMKV, it goes through the analysing section and then hangs at a output size of 8.1K no matter how long I leave it. It never actually brings...
