Re: Remake .mkv?

You can but it takes about the same amount of time to remux and take the subs out as it does to run the DVD through MakeMKV again and unselect the subs. Now if for some reason you don't have the DVD currently available to you, say you loaned it to a friend *nudge nudge wink wink* Run MKVMerge GUI (i...

Re: Wrong size video

The episode in question does play fullscreen as it should from the DVD. The info from mmg shows a display width/height of 853x480, which doesn't seem right either since even if it was suppose to be widescreen it should be 720x480. I have tried changing the Aspect Ration to 4:3, and then display widt...

Wrong size video

Getting a bit frustrated with this. The problem is I am ripping some old TV episodes from DVD, Daniel Boone to be exact. Anyway on one disc there are 4 episodes, 3 of which rip to MKV at the correct 4:3 (640x480). When I look at the DVD with DVDRemake, I see all 4 episodes at 720x480 aspect 4:3. All...

OR you could follow this link http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053 and just plug in the registration code:
run MakeMKV
-> Help -> Register -> new code from above link.

WOW... If you use IMGBurn to make ISOs, instead of AnyDVD then you will no longer get the "AnyDVD is running..." message

Re: Subtitles and Forced Flags

Not sure if I am understanding you right but when I used ClownBD to just demux the works for Iron Man I got Subtitle 6 as being the full subtitles including what would have been forced and Subtitle 13 being only the forced subs for the foreign language parts. Just my 2 cents, not sure if its worth t...

Re: Subtitles for the WD and Seagate players--How??

I have several drives I play off of. My main one is a 2T WD External but I also use a 64G Corsair Flash Drive when I just want to do up a movie and just watch it (later moving it permanently to the WD Drive) & currently testing out a Thermaltake Duet Docking Station although I haven't given it m...

Re: Subtitles for the WD and Seagate players--How??

I also have a WD HD TV Media Player Gen1, my above method for making
an mkv with chapters & subs works and plays just fine for me.

Re: Subtitles for the WD and Seagate players--How??

This is actually pretty simple, not sure what all the hoopla is about. ---- RIPPING ---- Use CloneBD to rip the files you will need, you will most likely need AnyDVD HD: - set DEMUX folder, mine is "Y:\ClownBD Demux" - Uncheck "Remux Location (txMuxeR output)" if it is checked - ...

Re: Expensive?

Got to vote for a decryption stripped out version as well since I already use AnyDVD HD to make an ISO, ClownBD to demux the video, subs and convert the HD Audio to AC3, & BDSup2Sub to convert the subs ClownBD demuxed to idx/sub and then MKVMerge GUI to muxe it all back together so that I get a ...

Re: Problems ripping Up DVD

I somehow did UP DVD to MKV and had no problems...Region 1 disc Don't suppose you remember what you did? Well I may have mostly fixed the problem. I got to wondering, what if I used CloneDVD to make another copy of UP, only this time selecting only angle 1 and then ran MakeMKV on that? The result; ...

Re: Problems ripping Up DVD

RE: Linux & WDTV I don't see this as a Linux problem or WDTV for that matter as I am running Win7 Ultimate (x64) and using the resulting UP mkv has the same issues playing on my rig as it does on the WDTV. Has anybody been able to successfully convert the UP DVD (not BR) to MKV without the annoy...

Re: Problems ripping Up DVD

Danger & setarip_old, Do other Pixar movies have those angles in them that cause the stuttering? "Up" is the first time I've noticed the multiple angle titles after MakeMKV scans the disc. Did versions prior to v1.4.09 not scan or detect the multiple angles? All my other DVDs have bee...

Re: Problems ripping Up DVD

I will say that from what I've been reading at other forums, it appears that the addition of intermediate hardware and/or streaming setups may be a contributing factor to this new anomaly that's been noted by a few posters regarding BluRays... Just to clarify, nobody here said anything about BluRay...
