How are you determining that the disc burned 2 years ago is still good? Is it that the disc can still be read and reports no errors while doing so? Or is it something else? I use BH16NS55 drives crossflashed to WH16NS58 1.V5 to burn M-Disc and verify them. I have about 8 of them and only one drive has a strange behaviour. Damn, they were available only a handful of hours. =( For me Inatek UA1001 is working fine, I tried to reflash BH16NS55 back to Original 1.02 (DE) and dump a 4k BD. I used Inatek UA1001 (chipset ASM105X) to flash my BH16NS55 and it seems to work well with ASUS Flasher (BH16NS55 from original 1.02 to 1.04 MK). I have an LG BE16NU50 and LG BH16NS55 drives. Thanks to this guide I have succesfully flash a DE firmware and I can rip 4K and burn blank media. Is it possible to crossflash these drives to enable scanning of burned bluray? (Qpxtools or Opti Drive Control). Could this change possibly break the poss...
