repeat about 100 times... then ripping commences. Last try, I came back 20hrs later to find it hung. 2nd try is 900mb into it.

Minor quibble, but I rebooted before I could figure out why the installer froze things up. The AGREE dialog was behind all the other Finder windows, and only showed up for .01 sec as Restart closed down window by window.
