in this particular case, I guess the disc was damaged, according to numerous reports on https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.ph ... 52&page=22

I was trying to back up a Ex Machina UHD disc via MakeMKV v1.14.5 (Mac OS X Mojave). I tried three times. In the first two times, I did backup + decrypt.
