Re: "automatic sdf downloading is disabled or failed" while decrypting
If you navigate (using a web browser) to hkdata.fairuse.org, you'll see a message saying "hosting disabled" (in Russian). This means that the issue is not on your side or mine - it's on the host that holds the HK data. There's nothing we can do about it except wait for it to be resolved.

Crash on Good Omens (disk 2)
Running MakeMKV to convert a Blu-Ray into MKV files on the second disk of Good Omens crashes, with a segmentation fault. Re: Drive Space Falsely Full?
Okay, I was wrong with my earlier post. You can't simply tell MakeMKV to go ahead - it'll fail, claiming a lack of free space. Instead, you need to get rid of the local Time Machine snapshots. The easiest way is to turn off Time Machine, wait a few minutes for the local snapshots to be removed, and ...

Re: Incorrect Free Space Reported
The issue is due to Time Machine. I'm currently being moderated if I post links (fair enough), so do a search on your favourite search engine for "time machine local snapshots", and hop over to the support document on Apple's website. The full details of what's going on are there. It's mostly a usef...

Re: Drive Space Falsely Full?
This is due to a combination of two things colliding. The first is the way that MakeMKV checks for disk space. I don't know the exact details - only Mike will know for sure (and any other developers that work on the codebase) - but you can get an estimate that matches the estimate MakeMKV gets by op...
