I had some problems getting a disc to rip. The new hashkeys didn't seem to be downloading. Eventually I realised that I didn't have wget in /usr/bin (I'm running NixOS so everything is weird) so it was silently failing to download them. As soon as I fixed this everything worked perfectly.
