I would concur with that thought. Does not sound like the drive is ok.

Re: HDR10+

It's nowhere near that simple, but, to answer the immediate question, yes, MakeMKV will retain HDR and HDR10+ metadata. They are embedded in the video track. Dolby Vision....there's been an enormous amount of discussion around this topic so search this sub forum and you'll find it. I'm not sure Plex...

https://www.techsupportall.com/fixed-so ... er-filter/

It doesn't just apply to optical drives that can't be found. Messed up filters can cause other issues, as well.

Re: Feature Request

They really don't. I was very big into 3d before I switched to 4k and all of mine were 3d mkv with zero issues.

Except if they're playing with AHCI that tells me they're on SATA, no?

Re: LG BH16NS55 Firmware 1.04 (and possibly other new drives)

Why are you messing around with AHCI? That's pointless and only applies to dosflash which isn't going to help you here anyway.

Re: LibreDrive and sensitivity to scratched disks

From my understanding, all the files on the disc are hashed to ensure they are read properly so I don't believe it will produce corrupted results.

Re: Feature Request

It works fine if you know what you're doing. :D Take your protected ISO, mount it in Elby's Virtual CloneDrive, open it with MakeMKV, and select backup. Make sure to select decrypt checkbox. Then output to your heart's content. The key step that's being missed is that MakeMKV can't open the ISO dire...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

LOL

The 1.02 firmware for the NS60 isn't posted on the LG site yet so I would say the only option at this point is the work around I outlined above. Flash MK 3.10 BW-16D1HT first, then flash DE 1.00 NS60. That should solve the issue.
