Pink Floyd Animals
I ripped this disc to backup and got one debug 0 code which I read doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem. I used that backup to create an MKV and the program said there were several av sync issues. Is that going to present a problem on playback?

Re: Problematic HD-DVDs
I didn't see a better place to put this so, here is my necropost. My HD DVD drive has been happily ripping discs using AnyDVD (blasphemy). But my drive (I forget the model no.) won't even recognize three HD DVD's I have from a box set: Blade Runner-5 Disc Special Edition. Has anybody found a way to ...

IIRC I bought the Vantec case you referenced for only like $30 a year or so ago. I need another one. But I may skip it. I wonder if these are in short supply?

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2022
I am having a hard time finding an enclosure that doesn't break the bank. I see the ones on the first post are all either out of stock or $$$. I don't need to be able to flash with it. Not interested in just a cable I have one. Any suggestions? Need 5.25".

consider upgrading hard drive
I get the error which says makemkv is reading faster than it can write to disk consider a faster hard drive. I am using the same drive to read and write to. I am assuming this isn't really an issue. Most drives can't write as fast as they can read. It's a fast ssd usb drive from wd. Any insight?

Re: Pioneer BDR-XD05 not recognized for LibreDrive
I have this drive and Make MKV says the required Libre Drive Enabled message. I am just curious, with the current firmware the drive cannot do UltraHD Blu Rays at all. Is that a hardware limitation or a firmware limitation? Could someone "unlock" UltraHD blu rays with custom firmware? The ...

Re: Drive giving hash errors- kiss of death?
I will look for your post.Billycar11 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 11:49 pmYeah I posted it somewhere how to take them apart it's easy 4 screws on the bottom.
It's not for sure a drive problem could be the disc or dirty laser if you put dusty discs in
Thanks for your help.
