Like I said in my earlier post, my issue (failed rip of 4k disk) was caused by some contamination transfer to the playing surface from the "ink" on the Bonus Features disk. This did NOT wash away and was only removed by vigorous polishing with a glasses cleaner cloth I had previously made ...
