Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past

The first time I put my BD in I got the error about the missing FUTs. After reading this thread I restarted MakeMKV (it had been running for a few days) and it loaded the disc without error. I have not yet tried ripping it so I'll report back that success or failure later. Not quite sure which titl...

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past

i must contradict, it doesn't work properly. it is possible to rip, but with many errors/warnings and not really correct. video stream contain image errors and audio/video duration is different, result is an increasing asynchronous sound to the end. tried to save a log, but this slow down the rippi...

Re: Toy Story of Terror

No problem. I still have no idea on how to address it via MakeMKV but I was able to get the end result by just using MKVMerge gui to map the segments I wanted together w/o the 1050 segment. I decided do the 803.mpls (English version w/ the three commercials). So (with the required AnyDVD enabled) I ...

Re: Makemkv and H.265

Hello I'm a new user of makemkv, and I'd like to know some more the program. Does makemkv use h.264 codec for ripping lossless a blu-ray? And about the new codec H.265, can be used in makemkv in order to reduce the dimension of output file, always maintaining the lossless quality? Be patient, maybe...

Re: Multiple PGS subtitles in output not working.

It can add as many subtitle tracks as the disc has. You simply have to ensure the ones you want have been checked as it will not check everything by default (unless you change the default, if I recall correctly).

Re: Toy Story of Terror

To the piggy-back topic - Same issue with the invalid audio segment. :x Only 850.mpls has the correct segment maps but that one is missing the audio and subtitles (only stereo). All of the other versions, including 800.mpls (the English version) have the "left audio" segment map 01050.m2ts at the st...

Re: little problems with the Hobbit blu-ray

I fell like your subject is some sort of discriminatory comment on hobbits.. ;) Nothing plays 3D mkv's so nothing to worry about there yet. As for the rest, as Big Mat notes, if it works, it works. I would let it play normally through the transition/join point in your player of choice as it may skip...

Re: Toy Story 3 BD, Wreck It Ralph BD, RIO BD

Toy Story and Wreck it Ralph ripped fine for me though that was on older version so I'd suggest trying Woodstock's advice.

Re: "on the fly decryption software is enabled" ???

This is a message you get when you have something like AnyDVD running (though I've used makemkv a number of times w/ anydvd still running and didn't have any issues). Assuming you don't have anything like that running, the only thing I'd recommend is uninstalling, reboot, download and reinstall the ...

Re: Gravity bluray error

I'm seeing what may be the same (as the original post), or at least almost the same issue. I have the file with only DTS MA and one English subtitle. If I play back in Media Center, I see a time of 573:43:29 and get no playback. Same result on two different systems, one hooked up via HDMI to a recei...

Re: Urgent Help :: No DTS MA from MakeMKV ?

As others noted, you have the MA in the file and there is nothing wrong with the file. Playing back lossless to a receiver can be notably complicated (and no you aren't going to be able to do it by trying to burn it to a DVD for sure..) The issue is not with MakeMKV, it is unquestionably with someth...

Re: Question about iso 3d

You can make a mkv with the 3d video but there isn't any software to play it back with. If it does play back in something, it will playback just one of the two streams giving you 2d.

Re: Makemkv and Seedbox (rtorrent 0.9.2)

Still unclear what you are talking about but the first thing to note is that makemkv is for backing up movies you own, not for ripping them off rental/web or illegally distributing them. Please do not discuss (or do) such things here. If somehow it doesn't have to do with the above, to address one p...

Re: Blu-ray Chapter section

Im converting an ISO of a TV series that is in Blu-ray format. Im ripping it using Make MKV one chapter at a time, What I need to know is obviously I start at chapter 1, I know there is no guarantee that they are in order because of the java but if I deselect all the other chapters it still leaves ...
