Also, forum search function works. As well as Google if you slow down and think it through for a moment:

No need to spam the forum with multiple post on the same thing. One is sufficient for people to jump in and try and help. Your original post is here:

Re: Step-by-step guide for the best (IMHO) drive: LG WH16NS60

I bought this exact drive, followed all of the required steps, and I even have my LibreDrive status at "Enabled," but I'm still having no luck decypting my UHD discs. If anyone can help, it would be most appreciated. Additionally, if you'd like to add me on Discord for direct help, it's Ariyan-nee#...

Re: Asus BC-12B1ST 3.11 Firmware Date 2119-20-27 13:21

Thanks for the info. I'm not having any problems. I just thought I would report it in case it was within LibreDrive. I thought that if there was a check for updates and the driver was future dated the update may not get applied. Cheers. Firmware and “driver” are two very different things and that i...

Re: Asus BC-12B1ST 3.11 Firmware Date 2119-20-27 13:21

That is how some drive manufacturers (e.g LG, ASUS, PIONEER, etc) date their firmwares. It has nothing to do with MakeMKV or the modifications used/provided within the walls of this forum. As that part is not touched by the modifications that have taken place within the firmware versions used/provid...

Re: HL-DT-ST_BD-RE BU50N

Curious about one thing, though. The LibreDrive info says 'Unrestricted read speed: Possible, not yet enabled'. If/when higher speed is available, can the rip speed be controlled? I don't see anything in preferences. A two layer disk backed up in ~40 minutes, three layer in ~60 minutes - this is no...

Re: HL-DT-ST_BD-RE BU50N

BTW, Just wondering... I've got a new WH16NS60, it works great with my PowerDVD, and I don't want to change that. But, why does it not throw a firmware rip as the BU50N did when trying to Backup my Alien disk with makeMKV? Is that because it is already in the database? It’s a currently supported dr...

Hello, I have an ASUS BW-16D1HT with firmware 3.10. Can anyone remote control assist me or something to do this? And how to do it fixing the sleep bug? There is a subforum dedicated to these services and which is also noted in the first post. Pay attention and read the guides/instructions/subforums...

Re: Pioneer BDR-212UBK - Great Drive for Every Disk! Too Bad It Isn't UHD Friendly!

I would assume Mike is the creator of Make MKV. Yes, Mike is the owner/developer of MakeMKV. Are you saying Mike is more likely to get MakeMKV working with official UHD nonfriendly drives than Red Fox, Arosoft (DeUHD), etc.? Yes, because MakeMKV already works with several official UHD drives. They ...

Re: Pioneer BDR-212UBK - Great Drive for Every Disk! Too Bad It Isn't UHD Friendly!

And when this drive gets libre-capible, would I have to flash it to LG or ASUS firmware? Or will Libre-capibility be obtained through modified Pioneer firmware? That’s not how that works. The LG and ASUS drives can be cross-flashed because they are practically the exact same drives manufactured by ...

Well, in the links provided, there are conclusive answers. Additionally, I’ve heard DVDfab has a mp4 solution. How effective is it? I couldn’t tell you. But you can probably jump onto their support forum to see if there is any info.
