Re: AACS 2.1 support

In order to avoid physical scratches I always made a protected ISO first, then I mount it via Windows 10 Pro mount option (right click on ISO image files), I open it with MakeMKV and it always decrypt it without any issues at all. Assuming you were answering me...I was asking how you do the protect...

Re: AACS 2.1 support

Why ISO? (I mean "why" in a sense "what is the benefit", not to offend you or discuss what particular workflow or tools are better.) Why not non-decrypted backup (same as ISO but files). Is there any "standard" for protected ISO, i.e. where all the key-related informat...

With AnyDVD HD the resulting ISO is not working with MakeMKV, but this happens only on my Fury UHD disc (AACS2.1).
Ah.
And with the ones you used, you did an makemkv backup first and then the iso? or something like SamuraiHL?

I've created a protected ISO with another software and now MakeMKV decrypt it with no hash errors at all.
Nice!
And what software is that?

Re: Wizard Of Oz correct playlist?

You can use bdinfo to check the differences in mpls files. Streams marked with * are not available in the specific mpls.
MakeMKV disables the * streams automatically. i.e If you choose an mpls that has certain streams disabled, they will not be available to mux.

Yes, that's the whole point of this post. It's very clearly detailed by the OP (and as I also mentioned above, in many other discussions in this forum), so I am unsure which part you are missing in this. :?: :?: NOTE to OP: It may be more helpful to change/edit the thread title from "Decoded&q...

Re: How I Successfully Decoded ALL 3 AACS 2.1 Discs

Hey Everybody - I'm a long time (paid even!) user of MakeMKV, which I know we all love. I know that Mike is hard at work on a version of MakeMKV that will handle AACS 2.1, and when it's done, I know it'll be the best solution out there, period. But if you want to go ahead and decrypt AACS 2.1 discs...

Re: UHD support

I'm using a friendly drive with the MK WH16NS60 patch. Copied discs before without issues. Today I tried to copy a disc but did not notice that "decrypt" was unchecked and got a bunch of errors: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT PRESENT' occ...

WH16NS60 works fine on MakeMKV, but not with other softwares (except first fw in DeUHD).
I meant for normal blu-rays. The other options in the market are not nearly as good as MakeMKV. For normal blu-rays I miss the region removal option. Would love an option to do ISOs in MakeMKV too.

Re: LG BH16NS55 Firmware 1.04 (and possibly other new drives)

That seems to work! Thanks again.
Another question though: Why go for the NS60 fw and not an NS55 one (1.02?)?
Also would this work only for MakeMKV liberdrive or other ripping softwares too?

Flash Asus 3.10mk and then if don't want asus 3.10 then the flash firmware of your choosing I would go with WH16NS60 1.00
Oh, ok, thanks. I saw you wrote about that but wasn't sure if that made the drive usable or not. I guess it does?
