unfortunately I don't understand the subject enough to know what really goes into differentiating between a profile 5 and 8 video. This is definitely not a permanent solution, but maybe @jcdr can consider implementing a user defined dv-profile parameter in a future version of tsmuxer similar to mp4...

Stutter with Plex / DV might be due to HDMV descriptors.
I had removed them for DV but was asked to put them back for compatibility with PGS.

Right, I saw that part and started to backtrack the code to see how I can correctly change DualLayers and m_hdr->isHDR10 to fall into the other side of the conditional and choose profile 4 on its own, but it eventually got too much for my understanding of the subject and hence the hacky change :lol...
