Re: Forced Subtitles Handling could be improved (-> Star War

Star Wars has some weird "Forced" subs. Some of the commentary subs are tagged as forced, so they will be kept. I muxed all of the discs manually, and if I remember correctly, the necessary subs were always the last English track - the first track is the normal subs. BTW: The movies with forced subs...

Are the subtitles there? Use Mediainfo to find out. That would be my first step.

Re: MKV with GERMAN marquee

If you play it in a standalone player you can probably see which title goes with each language.

I knew it seemed that sometimes the chapters were appended, other times they were not - I never thought the chapter names might be the reason. Thanks for the tip.

Re: Drive Angry problems

You could also use mkvmerge to append them. You'll probably also want to merge the chapter files as well. Let me know, and I can tell you how to do that.

EDIT: Will TSMuxer join the chapters?

Is that still necessary? I thought WD fixed that issue a while back.

I have 60GB dedicated to a movie, instead of 30GB. Of course, this is not a common occurrence, but it is a good feature. Big Blue about 4 different versions, it would be a good all in one file, but I do not know if possible. Try this: xin1generator http://code.google.com/p/xin1generator/ You also n...

I'm the author of chapter grabber and my database chapterdb.org is growing quickly. Great program, so big thanks for that. The only thing missing is the ability to read xml chapter files. I've kind of been holding out on that to go back and name the chapters on some Bluray rips.... extrac...

No, it's possible for any seamless branching Bluray disc. And just about any DirectShow player can play ordered chapter mkv's, even Windows Media Player - the only restriction is that you use Haali's splitter, but that should change soon.

Re: MKV Header Editing / Haali Problem

It's hard for me to come up with anything else, because I've never had any problems with Haali loading the default streams.... Some more info might help: media player, codecs, decoders, etc Are you sure you're using Haali? And are you sure it's the latest version (not part of a codec pack)? If you'r...

Re: I'd go ahead and buy MakeMKV if...

Naming titles and streams: This is part of the mkv header. So, instead of a track showing "3+2.1", you could manually name it (maybe you have a commentary track, and you want to name it "Commentary"). You can do this already with mmg's header editor, but it would be nice to do it with MakeMKV. Not a...

Re: MKV Header Editing / Haali Problem

Make sure you set both of them (the one you want to "yes", and the other to "no") and it should work. :? I've been setting the flags for ages now, and Haali always respects them. Are you sure you have the latest Haali? You could also try LAVSplitter - it respects the forced and default flags. EDIT: ...
