Hello does anybody know if there is any hope of the above drive becoming UHD friendly?
I have heard there is hope for older Pioneer drives, is this one of them?
If not I will probably sell it on eBay, only used it once.

Hi you was right about the laptop not providing enough power for the drive, luckily I have a sata mains power brick that I haven't used for ages, I also had to disconnect the laptops internal rom drive to get dos flash to run properley.

All done now, up and running, thanks to everyone involved with the project.

Ps, would a team executer 360usb pro device work under windows 32?

Cheers borrowed an old Lapps from work with WIN 7 32 on it, my Laptop needs 18 screws removing to get into the Satan ports, ouch.
