I'm still waiting for consistency in the program's naming of files.
Many times I get title00.mkv, rarely do I get Discname_t00.mkv
Why does it do it sometimes and not?

Re: Broken audio on Blu-Rays with AACS v57.
Successfully ripped Harbinger Down (German Import) which uses AACS v57. I ripped only the DTS-HD MA track for audio and not the lesser core audios.
I use MPC HC and have the K-Lite Pack installed, plays back as it should. I suspect AACS 57 has nothing to do with the issues you're seeing.

Re: Aimersoft Blu-ray Ripper is stealing from Makemkv
This is unfortunately true. It is a single Chinese company that steals MakeMKV and repackages it under different names - Leavo, Amerisoft, Aunsoft, etcetera. Even the popular "mac blu-ray player" product uses a hacked MakeMKV. Shame, really. These guys should be penalize. Isn't there a la...

Re: Ability to view region coding of disc?
Well it turns out that the monkey (Dvd Fab) has an information view screen that tells me what I have been seeking, I think. Is it truly reading the region coding from the disc or is it spooling this info from some database? When I inserted Harbinger Down (German Import) the info screen indicates tha...

Re: Harbinger Down (German) - Which Angle?
Was hoping someone had already done it to save me the time and experimenting but not the case. And the solution is, as expected.... Angle 1 (default) has German language overlay, First scene says "25 Juni 1982" Angle 2 has English language overlay, First scene says "June 25, 1982"...

Re: Ability to view region coding of disc?
Also see this http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=149191 Yep that's what I use to identify the region coding on a disc that I own. A time-consuming and laborious process. Thanks guys - What makes this time consuming? Referring to having the "try" each region? Am I to assume that it's ...

Re: Star Wars Despecialized version MKV acts up my system
So I used MKVToolNox to basically remux the file and the resulting file was also not able to be deleted.
I had to use a tool called Lock Hunter to delete the damned mkv files!
So what is so special about the bd iso and not being able to be deleted?

Re: The Last Witchhunter 4K UHD
Assuming we've got a drive that will read UHD discs at all, do tell!!! Which drive you got?
But if not, you've inserted the regular blu ray and are having problems?

Ability to view region coding of disc?
Is there a function in MakeMKV to view the region-coding of the inserted disc, be it dvd or Blu Ray? When a disc in inserted MakeMKV tells you the disc type, recording technology (such as dual layer OTP,) data capacity, etc but it does not tell you that "hey this disc is region B," or this...

Harbinger Down (German) - Which Angle?
Hi all, just bought Harbinger Down (German import) and am wondering if anyone else has already ripped it? There are two angles to choose from. Even though they're identical in size and both angles have English and Deutsch audio am sure there is a difference. I assume it's like Disney releases, the t...

Star Wars Despecialized version MKV acts up my system
Anyone here successfully ripped to MKV either the ISO or an actual disc of Harmy's Despecialized Edition 2.5 for Star Wars - The Original Movie (1977) ?? Let me explain what is happening. The resulting MKV file somehow makes Windows Explorer busy forever. The green progress bar up top (indexing??) f...

Re: Star Wars Subtitles - english
My post is for just the alien dialogue in English, in other words what would be forced subtitles on a normal Blu-ray. The alien dialogue seems to be in its own full english track and not a forced track together with a full english track, hence the confusion with Star Wars Blu-ray subtitles. Mac ver...

Amused by the thread myself, lol. Hurry! Now! Before they stop making new discs!
Newer BDXL drives as well as certain less-new drives with correct firmware will read the discs.SamuriHL wrote: Not to mention the lack of hardware on the PC right now for reading UHD discs

Thanks for this.
Apparently old Forum accounts still work.
They released a new version to continue to access their online fups database.
I know fups is a term used here but it makes sense. "Fix Ups"
