Re: Feature requests

@Krobar Where are you storing these files? My BD rips average 16GB per file (movie only), and that would eat up a lot of storage in a hurry. I have 8TB on my media server and even that would fill up fast. I have several hundred movies and TV series on there in h.264 format. I maybe watch a single m...

Re: Feature requests

I don't know why or how anyone would store the files MakeMKV spits out as they are. They are huge, and I certainly wouldn't be able to keep many movies on my media server that way. I store all of my films ucomppressed (Or at least without any further compression). Quality is better on a big screen ...

Re: A List of Discs that Fail to Rip

1.5.6 is a big improvement. It seems to have fixed all itles that caused MakeMKV to crash and a few others. None of the discs that still dont rip crash MakeMKV anymore.

Re: 23.976 fps

I have tested this program and it works fine. This is exactly people needs to archive their collections without compromising video and audio quality. Subtitles still doesn't work properly yet, but I'm confident they will work just fine. Two new features should be added: 1.Enable 23.976 fps for NTSC...

Re: Trial reset

It doesnt reset but you can update your key with a temporary beta one:

I think the plan is to keep issuing short expiry keys until the software is considered production standard.

Illegal title names need to be fixed too. I have a DVD with legal punctuation in the title label that generates an illegal Windows folder name.

Oppo BDP-83 New Firmware

MakeMKV full rate BD rips now stream OK over DLNA with this player. I'm guessing this is now the most BD player and streamer solution, DVD and BD rips stream fine. Still some issues with VC-1 appearing in a small window and LPCM tracks but considering it didnt support streaming at all when released ...

I think MakeMKV only supports official commercial discs. Please rip directly from the orginal disc.
