A very good theory. I'll let you know whether it happens on Watchmen, as well. How do you tell which movies are encoded with the 4.1 profile? I'll try my theory out on some others in my collection.

Thanks NomadCF. So just did 300 with no problems. Nice easy rip with no issues. Also did Iron Man (a pretty recent movie) with no problems at all. Will try Watchmen this weekend and will report. What were you thinking preliminarily?

Thanks for the links. I'll take a look and let you know if any of this helps. I'm currently using a DVI-HDMI adapter so that's not the issue. I just did a rip of The Dark Knight (26GB+ file) and I've noticed that in certain high action scenes, the video stutters slightly (enough to annoy). I'm running Plex on a Mac Mini 2Ghz with 4GB of RAM outputting to a Panasonic 1080p 42" TV. One thing I did notice was that my previous bluray rip...

Removing audio tracks

Just started doing some rips and noticed that the resulting MKV files are huge (20GB+). Most likely this is due to all the audio tracks being included. Does anyone know of a way to remove unwanted audio tracks (ie, other languages)? A Mac solution, of course, is preferred. Thanks!
