The operator is still standing by, watching the grass grow, because that’s legal in California now. We’re looking for your reactions to the new Avengers Endgame movie, no spoilers please just was it good, bad, did you wet your pants? The most entertaining thought wins a free bowl of soup and anythin...

If you currently don't read UHD and you'd like to, yes it's worth doing.
Yes it does, and no I would't but I shipped those units off days ago.
I have more coming though. My number is posted all over the place feel free to call me sometime we'll sort this out quickly.

Re: Is there a way to downgrade the firmware on a Buffalo BRUHD-PU3 from BU11 to BU10?
I just used the tried and true LG BU40N_1.00.bin and got the same results but this was with the Buffalo BRXL-PT6U2VB slim drive so ymmv. Hi, so your crossflash enabled UHD-Blu-ray disc reading on the BRXL-PT6U2VB? I wasn't thinking of it as a cross flash, just a roll back of the firmware on a BU40N...

Re: Custom firmware pack with LibreDrive patches
Woodstock, it's not just me asking for the firmware. It would be great to use BP50NB40 and WP50NB40 with LibreDrive. Why the hesitation to share the firmware?

Re: Ripping speed
It takes me about 12 hours to rip any UHD disc in my Asus BW-16D 1HT 3.01. Is this the normal ripping time ? Or is there anything which could be done to speed up ? Ripping time for Blue Rays is much faster whoops, i saw you answered the speed question. makemkv is a very processor unintensive progra...

Re: Is there a way to downgrade the firmware on a Buffalo BRUHD-PU3 from BU11 to BU10?
So the buffalo drives with the BU40N in it can simply be flashed with BU40N 1.00 and they'll come back saying Buffalo xxxxx BU10. I'm wondering about the Buffalo BRXL-16U3 big external drive that contains a BH16NS58 in it with revision 1.01. Is there a 1.00 around for the BH16NS58? Still need to fi...

Re: UHD support
interesting Alex, it wouldn't surprise me there is a big demand for these drives.i don't think you can get these drives anymore at retail outlets. There are a few places left where you can buy drives off the shelf like Microcenter, which we don't have. My local branch of a little mom and pop electr...

Re: Does anyone need their BE14NU40 or BE16NU50 rehabbed?
Someone tipped me off that Dell had them listed for sale at their site end of last week. I ordered one and the order was confirmed and I felt good so I ordered another 26 and that's when I got the call that their listing had been a mistake and according to their distributor there are really none of ...
