Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023

1.02 is on the 'encrypted' list. Are you using ' enc ' as part of the command line? this 100% Oh goddamnit. For some reason I was thinking they did the encryption crap with 1.03. Thanks, guys. i mean they did after 1.03 so your right its just that archgon is using the Taiwan version of the drive an...

I attempted to flash that with 1.03MK from the terminal on my MacBook Pro M2. Said everything was successful, I power cycled the drive, and it still shows 1.02 non-LibreDri...

Hopefully an updated version of MakeMKV will fix this. you don't update your firmware if it works pioneer is probably going to eventually start trying to prevent this im not saying this is the case yet but submit your ...

I was having the same issue thinking that I had an NB50 drive, but there was an NB52 code on the side of the box. Live and learn!

Do I need to use the command-line to flash to the HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin version firmware from where I am now?
You good as is now

Anyone able to assist? https://i.im...

How do you know? I have an ASUS external drive that I bought from Micro Center. I'm curious how to tell a fraud vs a real one.
It could also be a refurbished once from Asus I don't see why someone would fake these

Hi guys! I am new here, so I am unsure if this is the right thread for my issue. Recently I but the "Ju-On" Collection, where the main movie, "The Grudge," comes on a 4K ULTRA HD disk. My BH16NS55 is not reading that specific disc, and I don't know why. I read on that thread tha...

Re: DUMP not working

I did not focus on what he flashed his drive with, but on the syntax itself. However, back to the problem. As makemkvcon invoques sdftool, after examining its built-in help, I could succeed using this syntax : jean-luc@E-557:~$ makemkvcon f -d /dev/sr0 dump auto -o ./ Command produced 1 file(s) #00...
