MKV is a container which contains the ripped parts (Video, Audio(s), Subtitle(s)) 1:1 without changes (except decryption). The only conversion option is for audio tracks, but the default is to save the orginal.

No, the "-sel" deselect and the "+sel" select the entries. See: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4386StormMeows wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 4:49 pmIs the first thing where it says "-set:all" mean that it checks everything?

Re: Ponyo - Original Japanese Storyboards
Try it with MKVToolNIX GUI, maybe it can handle it and save the wanted into an mkv file.

Re: Final Fantasy VII Advent Children
In case of different angles, there are different mpls (Playlists) with different Segment Maps (the stream elements = m2ts files). Select the title, look into the right window, you see the "Source File xxxx.mpls" (the playlist), look deeper and you see the Segment map: 1,5,9,44,23 ... whate...

Re: 1.15.1 - AV sync issues
Mike says some weeks ago, that this message is a bug in case if no (forced?) subtitles are found.
Sounds like, that this was not fixed in 1.15.1

Next try, the syntax is a little bit tricky
-sel:all,+sel:(audio&(favlang|nolang)),-sel:mvcvideo,=100:all,-10:favlang

Re: Script for no subtitles, other languages?
Doc of the selection options: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4386 This selects (I hope) all Audio "Favlang" (ENG in your case) and "NOLANG" (some tracks are wrong specified) tracks. All subtitle tracks remains still deselected with the "-sel:all"...

Re: Script for no subtitles, other languages?
Did you set the "Preferred Language" (this is related to the "Favlang") in the MakeMKV settings? The default is "Nolang", so everything is selected.

Re: Feature Request: Use numeric mpls order
As a bypass you can use the ":SN" keyword in the output file name template to include the mpls number in the file name. see also: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=21913 This results by using "{NAME1}{Title:+DFLT}{_ID-:SN}" in: xxxxxxx_ID-00801,mkv xxxxxxx_ID-...

Re: Moomin Valley - The Complete First Series
In theory this should work. The disc has AACS 70 and this was implemented with MakeMKV v1.14.4.
So sorry, no idea why this does not work.

Re: Trouble with changing default track selection
Other than change the default language to English, I didn't touch any of the settings, so this is all the default install. I cannot belive this :) I replaced it with your suggestion of "+sel:audio(multi|lossless|(!core)|havecore)&(eng)" but it didn't change anything, it's still not se...

Re: MKV file plays fine on one PC but not on another
The big difference is "Rossini - La Cenerentola" is a NTSC 29,976fps DVD and "Enigma" is a PAL 25fps DVD.
Maybe (!) the 29,976fps are not accepted by the TV (disabled?) or the conversion to 25fps failed.

Re: MKV file plays fine on one PC but not on another
I think it is a problem with DVD resolution or framerate. Provide a listing with "MediaInfo" from a working and not working mkv file. Maybe this shows the difference in the streams.

You can use MKVTollNIX to convert the xxxxx.m2ts stream file(s) to mkv.
