Either this could be a bad disk or drive. You might also want to try another just to isolate the issue.

No need to worry about this. To me, this is a usual behavior of Windows. It has something to do with error checking and estimated time frame may not be accurate and can suddenly change over few hours.

I'm not really sure if this is available in Linux version but do you have show AV sync issues available? It could perhaps point you to the right direction.

Maybe check on the region settings as well? Are you also using VLC on the PC?

Correct. Unlike Windows, for me, you have to search for almost everything. Good thing is that with the error message that we get, we have plenty of resource to check.
