"Which MPLS" Doc?

For BluRay discs, there is often a need to validate which MPLS file should be used to rip the content in the correct scene order and language. Mike has done a lot to MakeMKV to allow the program to "figure this out" by itself in a lot of situations. There are still plenty, however, that it...

Re: The beta key valid until July 2018 does not work

It does not work for me even with a fresh download on Mac. Does anyone know if there's a way to update the beta key only for the Mac version? Just spend the $50.00 and buy the permanent key and you never have to worry about it again. So, you can't provide any information on how to replace the key o...

Re: Evaluation period has expired... No way of using the pro

I will never understand why this isn't a trial license. Everyone who uses the program should buy it and support further development. If it were a non-BETA, a trial license would make perfect sense. With many features being added still, and pieces being tuned to work [better / correctly], a trial li...

Re: What is the correct play list [insert title here]?

While the CLI may be where it actually gets implemented, that doesn't necessarily mean that using the CLI version "manually" (I use MakeMKV on a headless machine with automated tools to rip - there is no GUI at all, and the CLI version of MakeMKV runs from a control script) will leverage i...

Re: What is the correct play list [insert title here]?

What versions of what builds does this work with? Does it work with the CLI version? Linux? Mac? Windows? Where are the install and configuration instructions?

I've seen this discussed, but have seen almost nothing in terms of what the end user needs to do to get it to work.

Re: Evaluation period has expired... No way of using the pro

The key expired at least yesterday, so it didn't actually hold through the end of this month as intended.

That does happen sometimes, and you basically have two choices:

- Buy a key
- Wait until a new key is generated and posted

Re: Anyone have luck with Everybody Loves Raymond discs?

The issues were across SO many discs... I don't have the log files any longer, and I don't have the discs anymore either. I was getting encryption errors, read errors, and episodes were just plain never even showing up as being on the disc. Frustrating. I'm hoping that someone HAS the set, and can c...

Anyone have luck with Everybody Loves Raymond discs?

There's another thread on here about a variety of issues with different discs in the series, and I had many issues myself that were the same or very similar. I'm wondering if anyone has had luck in ripping all of the episodes from all of the seasons (DVD format specifically - I don't even know if th...

Re: Everybody Loves Raymond Complete Series DVD

Was any progress made on this? I have the EXACT same issue with these discs. Most will only show the first three titles on the disc, and will almost never rip titles four or five even if they show up in the list. I looked at the information on "Manual Mode" and see absolutely NOTHING that ...

Re: Odd issues with BluRay rips

The file does not play back correctly when transcoded by Plex, nor does it play correctly when direct-played by a Plex client (like on a TV). I highly doubt it's a codec.

Re: Odd issues with BluRay rips

I'm using Elmedia Player to play the MKV directly. This is what is producing the peculiar situation with the macroblocking. If I watch it back via the web client of Plex, the media server is transcoding the content. This removes the macroblocking but it's very choppy. Elmedia Player has zero issues ...

Odd issues with BluRay rips

I have a few discs that are giving me some odd results when ripping content. Patriots Day seems like it will rip fine, but when attempting to play back the MKV file on my Mac (which has been working flawlessly for months), it's all full of macroblocking and judder. If I move the file to my Plex Medi...

Re: Using Java Runtime Environment to get around obfuscation

Any chance that this would work in conjunction with the CLI version? On Linux? I'm wondering if it could be leveraged as a CLI option or something to try and "guess" the correct main feature file only instead of ending up with multiple files ripped that you have to wade through...
