I just wanted to add that I think libre drive is brilliant and makemkv is working beautifully for me Ive been a a happy customer . .havent had too many other programs i have really felt good about supporting,this is one i agree on.

i would think you would want to make a regular nondecrypted backup first and then once that is done close and reopen makemkv and open the index file in the encrypted backup that should let you decrypt the whole file at least this is the process that works for me .let me know if you have any question...

im having problems too,ive tried two different uhd disks and i get the same message the volume key is unknown file cannot be decrypted.i also get the debug error and it looks like the software hangs.not really sure what to say i know mike is working on it and i commend him for that,keeping software ...

i still get the debug 03df message but now the decryption of the first man blueray disc is going fine, weird how technology works sometimes.I would be happy to provide logs if mike would like them.kind regards

I just wanted to add i had some of the same problems,what i did that seemed to let me make a backup of the first man movie was as follows: I uninstalled my current version of makemkv I then went and downloaded latesr version from makemkv.com and then I reinstalled,this seemed to help get the program...

thanks for the input ,Ive got the USB drive that I was going to use formatted for ex Fat and the file loaded on my flash drive.so we will see .I imagine I will have to play around a bit with different t.v's

Yes thats right so i was just excited when i was able to get makemkv to turn the decrypted file into a mkv file.i probably shouldnt have posted but i thought at the time it was important enough for me to share.i hope i didnt waste anyones time here
