Re: Automatically insert .mkv filename into .bat file
Here's an example I had archived. Just modify the path to the ffmpeg executable & ffmpeg arg defs ('SET ...') to your preference: @ECHO OFF SET "FFMPEG=C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\ffmpeg.exe" SET "VCODEC=-vcodec copy" SET "ACODEC=-acodec copy&quo...

Re: Trouble with Popular Movie Titles
You don't mention any specific failures, so generally speaking, take a look at these: If you're experiencing rip errors, please read here first! Fixing Volume Key is Unknown & take a look at the top of any sub-forum for "pinned" or "sticky" topics that might better describe a...

Re: Close Encounters Of The Third Kind- 40th Anniversary Blu-Ray
I'm just looking at this now. Confusing alright. Well it seems like the segment map is exactly the same between the duplicates, so I guess that means it doesn't matter does it? One thing I find strange is the shortest version of movie has most chapters, 23, whereas the others have only 16 chapters?...

Re: SOCKS5 Proxy
In my limited experience, SOCKS5 supports (requires?) authentication, making it incompatible w/ MakeMKV's current proxy implementation, as I see no means of passing credentials. However, that may well be deemed overkill.

Re: Rip and Merge a Multipart BD
Use MakeMKV to rip the parts... all parts of the movie must be from the same source (i.e. multi-disc set), encoded with the same parameters into the same audio/video codecs, so make sure to select the same streams in each part. Use MKVToolnix to join parts... [HowTo]: joining multi-part movies files...

Re: Authentication Error
1st, there is a MakeMKV update available: The new version 1.16.3 is available for download at http://www.makemkv.com/download/ & it appears you don't have a LibreDrive capable optical drive: Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive Saved ...

Re: LG WH16NS40 v1.02
So if my drive has a Drive Platform of MT1959, then it should support UHD/HDR discs? If MakeMKV reports: LibreDrive Information Status: Enabled Drive platform: MT1959 Firmware type: Original (unpatched) Firmware version: 1.02 DVD all regions: Yes BD raw data read: Yes BD raw metadata read: Yes Unre...

Re: LG WH16NS40 v1.02
When I start MakeMKV, in the 'Info' section on the right side it says 'Status: Enabled' under 'LibreDrive Information'. I'm asking about changing the firmware because I'm unable to read the UHD/HDR discs. The request was intended to determine if the drive HW is too old for UHD support. IF that comp...

Sweet! Glad you got it sorted.MovieMan88 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 7:04 pm
I was finally able to use SDFTool after installing a newer version of Microsoft .NET framework! The flashing worked and I am now able to read UHD disks. Thank you for your patience, much appreciated.

Re: OWC Blu-ray drive?
I have the OCW Mercury Pro, yes. That Is why I used this thread to get an answer. Hoping that would work. This enclosure has the LG BH16NS40 and the SDFTool does not recognize any drive exists. I am running Windows 10 64bit. Well, I'm almost out of ideas, but since you're running Win 10  , ha...

Re: OWC Blu-ray drive?
I also tried using the SDFTool but that cannot locate the OCW USB external drive, dont know how I can be so confused on what seems like such a simple task. This OWC enclosure? Re: Asus BW-16D1X-U
The flashing tool would not open unless I ran it as an administrator. The Asus firmware would not flash onto the drive. I ended up using the WH16NS60 1.02 firmware and it worked like a champ. Libre mode is enabled and I'm ripping 4K discs! Also, currently ripping Solo: A Star Wars Story with no pro...
